About
I am a dedicated third-year Law LLB (Hons) student at the University of Brighton, passionate about applying legal knowledge to real-world challenges. My academic journey has provided me with a strong foundation in core areas of law, including contract law, tort law, public law, equity and trusts, and land law. Beyond my studies, I have actively sought practical experiences to deepen my understanding of the legal profession and develop essential skills in legal research, advocacy, and client interaction.
Through my work at the University of Brighton Legal Clinic and The Daisy Chain Project, I have assisted clients with a range of legal issues, conducted in-depth legal research, and contributed to the drafting of legal documents, including letters of advice and Non-Molestation Orders. These experiences have strengthened my ability to communicate legal concepts effectively, work collaboratively in a team, and provide meaningful support to clients navigating legal challenges.
I further developed my practical legal skills during a vacation scheme at Dutton Gregory Solicitors, where I gained hands-on experience in legal drafting, observed client meetings, and assisted in case preparation across multiple practice areas. This experience reinforced my attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment.
My academic and professional experiences have cultivated a strong interest in the legal profession as a whole, reinforcing my desire to develop a well-rounded understanding of different areas of law. I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge and skills in a professional legal setting and am currently seeking a paralegal role where I can apply my research and analytical abilities while gaining further insight into legal practice.
